Rachel Miranda

Rachel received her Pilates certifications in mat and apparatus through STOTT Pilates and pre- and post-natal specialist certifications through Women's Fitness Center of America. She graduated Summa cum Laude from Montclair State University where she earned Bachelor’s Degrees in both Fine Arts/Dance and English Education. She also holds a Master’s of Education in Dance from Rutgers. Rachel trained in New York and has been teaching Pilates since 2009. She is the director of the Ridge Dance Department at Ridge High School in Basking Ridge, NJ where she teaches grades 9-12 and advises on dance related extra-curricular activities. She brings her experience in the classroom to her teaching of Pilates.

Marcellina Mele

Originally from California, Marcellina majored in communications with a minor in dance from the University of California San Diego. She studied the Classical Pilates method in San Diego, New York City and in Rome, Italy - gaining an international perspective of the method. She was classically trained in 2013 in all levels of Pilates Mat, Barre, and Orbit. She is currently continuing her education for certification for all apparatus under the McEntire method.

With a background as a pole vaulter, runner and dancer, Marcellina brings high energy to her classes, keeping them challenging while catering to her clients’ needs. As a second profession, her focus and passion is acknowledging that “Pilates is not just an exercise, but a way of life!” -- helping people achieve healthier lifestyles.

Carol Crincoli

Carol M. Crincoli, Owner of Pure Pilates, has been practicing Pilates since 2003. She received her Pilates training through the PhysicalMind Institute in New York, NY and is certified through the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA). Carol is a graduate of the Boston Conservatory of Music with a B.F.A. in Musical Theater and a minor in Dance. She is certified by the American Council on Exercise (ACE) as a Group Exercise Instructor, Personal Trainer and a Lifestyle and Weight Management Consultant. She was accepted into the IDEA-PFT Recognition System as an Elite Level Personal Fitness Trainer. Carol has been working in the exercise industry since 1990, in the areas of corporate/commercial fitness, recreational programming and was adjunct faculty at Kean University in Union, NJ. By incorporating her love of movement and music, fitness knowledge and her outgoing personality, she brings quality programs for all ages and fitness levels. Opening Pure Pilates is the culmination of a lifetime dream for Carol. Her desire to "inspire life from the core" incorporates every aspect of well being from exercise, healthy lifestyle and stress management.

Madeline Smith

Madeline became certified in Pilates Mat through the Kane School in New York City and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Ballet and Modern Dance from Texas Christian University. She was introduced to Pilates at the age of 12 as a complement to her dance training. Madeline has performed with the Baton Rouge Ballet Theater and BODYART Dance Company in New York. She has a passion for fitness and movement and especially loves working with children with special needs.

Katie Huddleston

Katie received her Classical Comprehensive Pilates Certificate of Training from Core Pilates NYC. She is a professional dancer who has performed across the country at numerous venues and in various productions including at The Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall and in the Broadway 1st National Tour of Anything Goes and in the 50th Anniversary Concerts of the Rolling Stones. Katie is inspired by Pilates for the mind-body connection it creates and brings this passion to her students as she helps them realign and strengthen their bodies while improving overall wellness.
