Kathy Celardo

Kathy received her Pilates Instructor certification in 2009 through Balanced Body University and achieved her Certified Pilates Teacher designation by the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) in 2010. Kathy was a student and employee of Pure Pilates for several years before pursuing her certifications as a Pilates Instructor. It was her enthusiasm for the Pilates Method, engagement of the mind with the body to strengthen muscles, increase flexibility and improve overall health, that lead her to become a certified instructor. Pilates continues to improve her performance in her many other passions including running, cycling, skiing and hiking. Kathy continues to broaden her knowledge and understanding of Pilates movement and technique through various workshops and seminars. When Kathy is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons who also share a passion for a healthy and active lifestyle.

In addition to jumping and other cardio exercises, the padded Jumpboard also allows the instructor to recreate a biomechanically accurate standing position while lying on the Reformer.   • Chair/TRX Circuit
  • Stretch and strengthen your muscles in this fast paced circuit workout on the Combo Chair and TRX Suspension system. The small surface of the Chair challenges your body like no other Pilates apparatus and the versatility of the TRX breathes new life into our circuit series. This unique combination takes your Pilates practice to a whole new level. The BOSU is used to add a cardiovascular component to the circuit workout.  Instructors have the options to utilize the ARC Barrel and/or Foam Roller in the workout.   • Orbit
  • Feel like a kid again and roll through this total-body workout that strengthens, stretches and challenges on multiple planes! The Orbit is a floor scooter that will ramp up your Pilates exercises with both circular and linear movements. It’s a serious core workout because your abdominals are always active.   • Pilates Toys
  • Change up your mat workout by using a Pilates prop. The instructor will utilize our studio toys to add variety and challenge. See what magic circles, foam rollers, physioballs, resistance bands, CORE bands and ARCS can offer to your Pilates practice.   • Reformer/Tower Combo
  • It's a unique, fun and challenging Pilates workout on the most popular machines. Experience the Reformer and Tower in one amazing session. The Integrated workout uses the Tower bars and springs to work the major muscle groups, while controlling the moving Reformer carriage with your core.   • MAT
  • Just you and the floor. The Mat work is designed to use the body's own opposition to correct muscular imbalances caused by everyday life and its repetitive patterns.   • Tower

  • Tower Springs
  • Do you enjoy our Tower classes? Then you will love Tower Springs.  This workout will give your arms, legs and abdominals a Pilates workout like no other.
