Rachel Miranda

Rachel received her Pilates certifications in mat and apparatus through STOTT Pilates and pre- and post-natal specialist certifications through Women's Fitness Center of America. She graduated Summa cum Laude from Montclair State University where she earned Bachelor’s Degrees in both Fine Arts/Dance and English Education. She also holds a Master’s of Education in Dance from Rutgers. Rachel trained in New York and has been teaching Pilates since 2009. She is the director of the Ridge Dance Department at Ridge High School in Basking Ridge, NJ where she teaches grades 9-12 and advises on dance related extra-curricular activities. She brings her experience in the classroom to her teaching of Pilates.

  • Feel like a kid again and roll through this total-body workout that strengthens, stretches and challenges on multiple planes! The Orbit is a floor scooter that will ramp up your Pilates exercises with both circular and linear movements. It’s a serious core workout because your abdominals are always active.   • Reformer
  • The popular Reformer workout offers a wide variety of exercises that allows the Pilates student to work very precisely to develop good alignment, core strength, and flexibility. Reservations Highly Recommended. 24 hour cancellation policy applies to this group session.

  • JumpBoard
  • The Jumpboard adds great versatility to your Reformer workout. In addition to jumping and other cardio exercises, the padded Jumpboard also allows the instructor to recreate a biomechanically accurate standing position while lying on the Reformer.
