Kathy received her Pilates certification in 2009 through Balanced Body University and achieved her Certified Pilates Teacher designation in the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) in 2010.
She was a student and employee of Pure Pilates for several years before pursuing her certifications. Her enthusiasm for the Pilates Method, engagement of the mind with the body to strengthen muscles, increase flexibility, and improve overall health, led her to become a certified instructor. Pilates continues to improve her performance in her many other passions including running, cycling, skiing, and hiking.
Kathy constantly broadens her knowledge and understanding of Pilates movement and technique through various workshops and seminars.
