Pink Ribbon Program
PINK RIBBON PROGRAM
The Pink Ribbon Program is a 6-week series of exercise sessions, featuring tailored movements designed to meet the needs and challenges of breast cancer survivors. The Program’s overall goal is to enhance recovery and improve quality of life. Pure Pilates offers this program free of charge to all breast cancer patients and survivors.
Exercise is an important part of breast cancer treatment and recovery. The Pink Ribbon Program helps stretch and strengthen shoulder, chest and back muscles, improving range of motion and increasing strength to the areas most affected by breast cancer surgery, treatment and reconstruction.
Expected benefits include:
- Renewed strength/mobility to affected shoulder and arm
- Stimulation of lymphatic drainage (to help prevent Lymphedema)
- Improvement of functional ability
- Assistance in posture restoration
- Alleviation of pain and swelling
- Relief of stress and anxiety
Working with students in a private setting, Pure Pilates instructors Carol Crincoli, Kathy Celardo and Tiffany Mortimer teach the Pink Ribbon Program and are certified through the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) and the Pink Ribbon Program. They have 30 years of collective Pilates teaching experience.

15 Years Later
Proceeds from the 15 Years Later CD will cover all tuition for breast cancer survivors enrolled in the Pink Ribbon Program at Pure Pilates.
The CD is a collaboration between long time friends Carol Crincoli, owner/instructor Pure Pilates, and Brian Celardo. Featured songs are a few of Carol’s and Brian’s favorites, and they’ve put their signature styles in the arrangements.
