I am an avid reader as are many of my clients. This summer, I read the Atlee Pine series by David Baldacci. I must give credit to my client, Alex, for recommending this book that I am thoroughly enjoying. The main character, Atlee Pine, the tough, smart, and heroic FBI agent was good company to have while recovering from Covid (for the second time). There are four books in this series, which include Long Road to Mercy, A Minute to Midnight, Daylight, and the last one I’m just completing, Mercy.
Another book on my list is Power Hour: How to Focus on Your Goals and Create a Life You Love by Adrienne Herbert which is about building better habits and achieving goals. As a runner and a Pilates teacher, it may come as a surprise to some, but one habit I am trying to improve are my workouts. When I exercise, I always feel better, so my goal is to carve out a consistent workout schedule for myself.
Finally, I must share my next book even though I haven’t started it. I am really excited to read Dinners with Ruth: A Memoir on the Power of Friendships by Nina Totenberg. Anything about Ruth Bader Ginsburg is a must-read for me. Her life and story empower me as a woman and reminds me to stand up for what I believe in.
