As the days get shorter and we hunker down for winter, I was looking for a good book series that can keep me entertained. Luckily, my client Judy K. recommended a fantastic book entitled Dead Mountain by co-authors Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. It is a true page-turner with protagonist Nora Kelly who tries to solve the mystery of nine mountaineers found murdered in the mountains of New Mexico with the help of FBI agent Corrie Swanson.
To my delight, Preston and Child wrote five books with the protagonist, Nora Kelly and I am now on to the next book entitled Thunderhead. Facing deadly risk, Nora Kelly attempts to find Quivira, the lost city of gold in the remote corner of Utah's canyon country.
Preston and Child also wrote 21 books in a series with protagonist, Special Agent Pendergast and the first book is entitled Relic. This was an enjoyable and very suspenseful book about a strange creature murdering people in the Museum of Natural History in NYC. I look forward to reading the next book in the Pendergast series.
