It’s not often I brag about how my recipe looks sooo much better than the picture in the cooking magazine but today’s the day. I’ve taken a few liberties with the @foodandwine recipe for Chicken Sausage and Lentils. Unlike the recipe, I brown off the chicken sausage separately, then the onions so they get all the yummy goodness leftover from the sausages. Then I deglaze the pan with double the amount of balsamic and mix the sausage back in to combine. This step then gets added to the lentils for a yummy stew-like dinner.
