For the month of January, I’m participating in the Dry Challenge. That means no alcohol for 31 days. This mocktail is straight out of Hilary Sheinbaum’s book, and is so decadent on it’s own, you won’t miss the alcohol!
First make the simple syrup made with Agave that’s infused with peppercorns.
Muddle an 1/8 of a red pepper with the simple syrup in a cocktail shaker.
Add 1 oz of lime juice and one oz of grapefruit juice to the shaker with ice.
Fill a salt rimmed glass with ice (optional), add the shaker contents and top with tonic.
